Contribution:

Problems in education: In the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Strategy" Kazakhstan-2050 "New political course of the established state" great attention is paid to the issues of education. “To become a developed competitive state, we must become a highly educated nation,” noted in the Message. One of the indicators of success in entering the world educational space is the implementation of international educational standards, in which the formation of functional literacy is designated as one of the priority tasks. The formation of functional literacy is a condition for the development of a dynamic and creative, responsible and competitive personality. The issue of functional literacy of students and the whole younger generation is also reflected in the President’s Address: “It is also necessary to pay great attention to the functional literacy of our children, in general, of the whole younger generation. It is important that our children are adapted to modern life. ” Training in secondary schools in Kazakhstan is not as effective as it could be. The TIMSS and PISA data show that the Kazakhstani high school system is sufficiently effective in terms of transferring theoretical knowledge and ensuring that students memorize, analyze, and receive information. This is relatively weak to enable students to acquire and practice higher-order thinking skills, such as using a decision algorithm and reasoning in mathematics, or analyzing and evaluating texts while reading. The introduction of updated educational programs and assessment systems is one of the actions taken to solve these problems. Thanks to the implementation of the updated program, students will be able to apply their skills in any situation, which will allow them to overcome any difficulties and solve various problems that students will face in the future. Students will be able to improve their communication skills, language skills in various fields and circumstances, which is undoubtedly necessary for successful cooperation and mutual understanding in a multi-ethnic society. What is being introduced now is an updated program to solve this problem.

Expectations:

The International Forum is a great opportunity to meet interesting people from different countries who have great ideas for solving our common problems concerning education. I want to learn something new, share experiences and get an emotional boost with which I can share not only at my school, but also at district, regional, Republican seminars on current issues of education. I would also like to get practical skills and always cooperate for the benefit of education.
