PROPOSAL 2: “Reach before you teach: strengthening your students' engagement”As educators, we are always concerned about student engagement and motivation, looking for effective strategies to try in our lessons. When we want to reinforce our learners’ engagement in learning, it is valuable to have creative and innovative tools that help us effectively reach students intellectually, socially and emotionally. Create a positive and inclusive classroom climate in which real language learning can grow using strategies that develop security, identity, belonging, purpose and competence in your learners. Become more resourceful and enhance your teaching practice and your motivation balancing your classroom language routine with innovative techniques that will establish a productive and respectful learning atmosphere using XXI Century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, cooperative learning and social emotional learning in a brain-based class.

Expectations:

I would like to deliver two Presentations to reach as many colleagues from other parts of the world as possible.
