Merits:

Secondary / High school Teacher of Mathematics

I am the holder of the “Secondary and High school teacher’s diploma” (dipes 2), session of September 2000, from the higher teachers training college of the University of Yaounde I. I received the Best teacher award 2018 from the Ministry of Secondary Education Cameroon, in which my performance was very outstanding. National ranking placed me at the second position and the first for the North West Region.

Contribution:

Information and communication technologies (ICT) are an integral part of everyday life including the Teaching process. The level of teaching equipment in Cameroonian schools’ ranges from chalk and board to the latest smartboards and other equipment. High level of ICT is foreseen as a prerequisite for successful teaching and, as such, an integral tool of contemporary schools. The purpose of this paper is to examine the extent to which ICTs are practically integrated in the teaching process, before, during and after the lesson.

Expectations:

A forum like GIPF-2019 will widen my scope and expose me other captivating methods of teaching, which when applied in my Country, will certainly be a major attraction to many learners.

I also expect to see how in the other participating countries, learning is applied to daily life activities of their citizen, for, this application can be a very motivating factor to learners. Such knowledge will further stimulate their interest and consequently hard work and success.

I would also bring and share within the Forum, my experience as a teacher for more than 18 years.
