Education in Armenia

Each country has its own characteristics of education. Armenia also has its own characteristics, there are pros and cons. Armenia, being a post-Soviet country, entered the system of Bologna. We were preserve the traditions of our educational sistem, but at the same time we are actively looking to the future and we are open to new promising ideas. In this online conference I will try to show you how we manage to combine new and old teaching methods.

I live in the southern part of Armenia in the city of Goris. from 2012 to the present day I am working a biology teacher at the high school №4 in the city of Goris. I have a master's degree and I am 28 years old.  2012-2014 worked as a trainer in the project "Robotics start from school". In 2014, I participated in professional development trainings for biology teachers in Armenia, which was conducted by the National Institute of Education of Armenia. In 2018 participated in the AYB professional development project. in 2018 participated in the project "Technopedagogy and the development of special education systems", which took place in Jerusalem (Center for Cooperation and Development) MASHAV, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel. In 2019 I participated in the project "Social Networks in Education". which were conducted by the National Institute of Education of Armenia.  In 2019, I took part in the Education Reform project carried out by the Ministry of Education of Armenia. In 2019, I took part in the project "Development of distance learning systems". which took place at the National Center for Educational Technologies. In 2020, I participated as a trainer in the STEMGen Training Classes with Innovative Educational Resources project. which took place at the American University of Armenia.
