Education challenge Liberia is faced with
Merits:

Chemistry teacher at the Paynesville Seventh-Days Adventist High school. I am a school debate team coach.

I have been in the class room over the passed 15 years and I have achieved, the national science award for my institution and as a debate coach,we were able to win national debate championship for our noble institution.

Contribution:

I am so happy to outline some of the difficulties my country is experiencing, I will talk on two important points, firstly, the involvement of some teachers accepting money from students for grades, this is due to  poor salary which can not enable a teacher to meet the needs of their family. Secondly, Liberia do not have  tracking system to determining students who fair in one school and leave for the next school  promoting himself /herself. This is a condition that is  seriously affecting the education system in Liberia. I am with the fullest conviction that this Forum will introduce new method for us to be able to help our country.

Problem of education in Liberia is due to many factors but I will outline few of the issues confronting our education system in Liberia.
1. The lack of training and qualify teachers.
2. Low salary.
3. No educational program to promote smooth learning

Expectations:

To be a better educator to help foster the developing goal of Liberia and the world at large.
