Merits:

Associate Professor Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Educational Psychology-Specialised in Special Education University of Buea, Cameroon I have been teaching in the University for 15 years. With this experience I have been involved in the training of student teachers and in-service teachers in Special and Inclusive Education. I also have a wide researched experience in the disciplines of Educational Psychology and Special Education with interest in the areas of Inclusive education, Teacher Education and Social Skills. I am involved in the supervision of Ph.D and Masters Degree Students.

Contribution:

Problems of National Education: Problems of National Education are enormous in Cameroon but the major ones include: Non-Applicability of Laws governing Education in Cameroon, Lack of collaboration between the Ministries of Education (Basic Education, Secondary Education, Higher Education and Vocational Training), Plethoric Class Size and the Non revision of the Teacher Education Curriculum.

Expectations:

 

I expect to gain more knowledge and experience in the area of Teacher Education and Inclusive Teaching. It is also my wish to network with other researchers in these fields in order to continuously contribute to the training of student teachers and in-service teachers in my country and the world at large.
