Merits:

I, Judy Mungal has been in the teaching profession for twenty-six (26) years, sixteen of which has been as a Primary School Teacher in the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago.

I desire to inspire and motivate not only my students but also their parents to achieve their highest potential both academically and socially.

I am a resourceful teacher with the proven ability to enhance not only students’ performance but also student teachers in training from the University of Trinidad and Tobago. My classroom has been described by many as a model classroom and student teacher and even experienced teachers visit regularly to get a firsthand view of it.

I am passionate about enhancing partnerships with parents and hence I have been hosting numerous Parents ’workshops since 2010. These workshops are specifically geared to educate parents about curriculum content and strategies to help their children achieve their academic goals.

I firmly believe in teachers helping others to develop best practices in their pedagogical approach. This belief motivated me to become the founder and one of the administrators of a closed teachers’ online group that seeks to promote and highlight best practices in the classroom. The group has approximately 3300 members from Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana and St. Lucia.
