Merits:

Dr. Irida Hoti is a twenty years experienced Language Teacher, Lecturer and Researcher, specialized in Applied Linguistics and Academic Writing.

In 2015 she is honored with the tittle "Decree of Merit"- for contribution on Applied Linguistics, from IBC Center, Cambridge.

Irida 's biography is included in the "Dictionary of International Biography" by The International Biography Center, London (2016).

In 2017 Irida is awarded with the National Prize: "The teacher of the Year in Innovation", Albania.

She is a member of the Albanian Scientific Women Network since 2017.

She is a Certified Trainer for teachers since 2018.

Her research and publications are focused in the fields of: Applied Linguistics, Academic Writing, Scientific Research, Didactic.

Author of a monograph on Applied Linguistics (2013); 

Co-author of 14 books published in the Educational Field:

  • A Vocabulary of Terms in Education (with Gjokutaj, Kadriu, 2016).
  • A monograph for F. Luli (with Dizdari, Kazazi, Mesi, 2006).

The teachers have been finalists and winners of the annual National Teacher Prize, organized by the Albanian Coalition for Education, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and with the support of the Varkey Foundation.

Contribution:

Firstly, sharing, ideas, opinions, experiences, practices with the teachers all around the world.

Secondly, I think the Forum is a good opportunity to strengthen the teacher’s capacity in inclusive and equitable education.

Expectations:

The forum will be a great opportunity to embrace and incorporate successful models from around the world.

I would like to have the chance in a near future to see the schools in Berlin or other countries in Europe to see how teaching techniques are applied.

It would be great to have the chance to be part of any lectures or seminars in Berlin, due to I am also a  Certified Trainer for Teachers.

I would like to have the chance to be part of any Exchange Program at any University of Berlin for Teaching Methodology, Academic Writing or Applied Linguistics to expand my researches in my field.
